Indigenous Student Success Program (ISSP) - Education Costs and Accommodation Costs Scholarships

In 2025, 免费色片 will offer a number of Indigenous Student Success Program (ISSP) Education and Accommodation Costs scholarships to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students experiencing financial need. Students who are commencing or continuing their studies in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at 免费色片 are invited to apply.

Each scholarship is for a maximum of one year, with applications open to coincide with the trimester calendar.

Scholarships are awarded in two categories:

Education Costs Scholarship: to assist students with the costs of tertiary education.

Students receiving a Centrelink Student Start Up Loan are not eligible to receive an ISSP Education Costs Scholarship in the same period.

Accommodation Costs Scholarship: to support students with costs associated with relocating from a regional or remote area to study on-campus.

Students receiving a Centrelink Relocation Scholarship are not eligible to receive an ISSP Accommodation Costs Scholarship in the same period.

Students may be eligible for both an Education Costs and Accommodation Costs Scholarships.

The scholarship/s will be paid in one instalment, to the maximum value as outlined below:

$4000 – for 免费色片 Period 1 (e.g., Trimester 1 2025) recipients; or
$3000 – for 免费色片 Period 2 or 3 (e.g., Trimesters 2 or 3 2025) recipients

If awarded both the Education Costs and Accommodation Costs Scholarships, the recipient will be paid at the same rate for each scholarship.

For example, if awarded both scholarships in 免费色片 Period 1, the recipient will be paid $8000 ($4000 for the Education Costs Scholarship and $4000 for the Accommodation Costs Scholarship).

Applicants must:

be a currently residing in Australia
be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person of Australia
be their studies at 免费色片 in any undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in the study period of application (e.g., Trimesters 1, 2 or 3 2025)
- continuing students – have a current Grade Point Average (GPA ) of at least 3.0
be enrolled in a minimum of one study unit in the study period of application
have an annual household income which demonstrates low socio-economic circumstances and financial need.

Accommodation Costs Scholarship applicants must also:

have relocated from a regional or remote area in order to undertake on-campus study.

*Applicants cannot hold an ISSP Scholarship concurrently with the following Centrelink payments:

– not eligible to receive the ISSP Education Costs Scholarship.

– not eligible to receive the ISSP Accommodation Costs Scholarship.

Education Costs and Accommodation Costs Scholarship applicants must:

provide evidence you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person of Australia
provide evidence of personal financial circumstances which may include:
- Centrelink Income Support Statement indicating a regular payment; or
- Proof of income (Australian Taxation Office Notice of Assessment for the most recent financial year and payslips covering the most recent two months); and
- Concession, Healthcare and Medicare card/s.

*If you are financially dependent on your family/guardians, you will need to provide documentation of family income.

Accommodation Costs Scholarship applicants must also:

provide evidence to show you have relocated from a regional or remote area at least 50 km to study on-campus (extra consideration is given to those students from more remote areas).

Please Note: If an applicant holds other 免费色片 awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
