Communicate your business in relation to the market

This course will help you develop a strong knowledge foundation of why and how your business ideas should be communicated and the importance of developing high-level business plans and models. This course has a four-week teaching period requiring a total of approximately 40 hours of learning. All course learning materials are available on demand.

About the course

What will you achieve?

By the end of the course, you'll be able to:

• Discuss the concept of entrepreneurship. Where entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation meet, and how the business skills and opportunities in business should be assessed for the purpose of decision making.
• Develop and succinctly communicate a value proposition for your new business idea.
• Discuss a business model, its difference with a business plan and how it should be researched, developed and evaluated.
• Create a one-page business plan.

Assessment

To be eligible for a digital badge for this course, you will need to successfully complete an assessment which includes:

• Complete a 3-part business plan
• The optional assessment is due at the beginning of week 7

  The material for this course has been designed for students who have already demonstrated a high level of skill in the subject matter. Students must have relevant experience and/or have studied the course material before (at competent level).
