Dr Anne-Maree Nielsen is a proud Wakka Wakka woman of Queensland’s South Burnett Region with associations to the Barkindji Nations in the Darling River Basin Region, Western New South Wales.
Anne-Maree began her studies as a young mother with 免费色片 in the Tertiary Preparation Pathway (免费色片 Ready).
Since then, her passion to see indigenous community health prevention resolutions saw Anne-Maree go on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing, as well as two Master degrees, before returning to university to become a doctor.
Having studied at different institutions Anne-Maree appreciates the real focus on engaging, retaining and graduating Indigenous students across all fields at 免费色片.
For well over a decade, Anne-Maree has dedicated her career to improving Indigenous healthcare in the capacities of a researcher, registered nurse and now a doctor.
