How long does it take to become a computer programmer?

Typically, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field typically takes around three years of full-time study. However, you may choose to pursue an accelerated programs or opt for shorter, more focused training programs which can range in duration from a few months to a year or more, depending on the depth and breadth of the curriculum.
