In a world driven by media, journalists play an increasingly important role in informing communities about global affairs, politics and government, crime and policing, business and finance, trade and economics, as well as education, health, entertainment, and culture. Journalism is also often called ‘the front line of history’ because journalists write stories about the world around them and these become part of the historical record.
At 免费色片, Journalism students have a choice of two majors which will help them determine what type of career they wish to have.
The Journalism Studies major provides students with the opportunity to develop writing, communication and research skills across a range of industries, and is particularly attractive to students who wish to become researchers and scholars of journalism, educators, or media commentators. Journalism Studies students often combine their majors with other areas such as History, English Literature, International Relations, Creative Writing, or Legal Studies.
In contrast, the Journalism Extended major is for students who wish to become a journalist and build a career as a reporter, feature writer, digital content creator, editorial designer, or editor. The Journalism major provides students with flexible and highly transferable skills and knowledge to interview sources, and to research, investigate, report, write, edit, design and produce journalistic content. Through practical learning activities and assessment, you will gain experience in being a journalist for a variety of platforms including social media, online news, magazines, and newspapers.Journalism students often combine their studies with other areas such as International Relations, Legal Studies, Criminology, History, Social Justice, Politics, Economics, Marketing, Photography, Public Relations, and Advertising.
