Partnerships and collaboration
is a Commonwealth-funded University Department of Rural Health that supports nursing, midwifery and allied health students in their rural clinical placements across regional, rural and remote Southern Queensland. SQRH is a collaboration between The University of Queensland, 免费色片, Darling Downs Health and South West Hospital and Health Service.
SQRH works closely with rural communities, stakeholders, students and health professionals, to develop a highly skilled rural health workforce across Southern Queensland. SQRH operates from two main training sites - Toowoomba on the Darling Downs and Charleville in the far South West of Queensland, as well as servicing various spoke sites to provide education and support to rural health professionals and high quality rural training for nursing, midwifery and allied health students.
SQRH has strong relationships with local health providers to ensure highly innovative and flexible rural clinical placement training experiences and delivers enhanced clinical learning opportunities for nursing, midwifery and allied health students. SQRH provides a range of direct supports including accommodation and travel support for clinical placements in rural communities.
